Ask Siri to launch Apps on iPad 3

Ask Siri to launch Apps on iPad 3
iOS 6 bring the intelligent assistant Siri to new iPad 3. Siri provides detailed information about sports, restaurant, and movie from multiple sources, and also launch apps when you ask it. To launch apps with Siri, just say "Launch [the app's name]", "Open ***", "Play ***" command, such as "Launch Facebook", "Launch calendar" or "Open safari", then it will take care of it for you.

I have tried the new feature with iOS 6, but Siri won't launch apps on the tablet. When I ask it to launch Facebook or launch contacts, Siri responds with "it doesn’t look like you have an app named ***" error message. If I say "Siri take a message", it respond correctly.

Hope the next update would fix the issues.

Siri is a virtual personal assistant on iOS 6. If you want to get Siri to pronounce or say your name correctly, you need to let it learn who you are or change the fields of your contact info.

* If Siri has my name wrong or call you something other and you want to change it, you could manually update your name by the step by step:

Siri have trouble connecting to the network on iOS 6
My new iPad 3 worked flawlessly yesterday after updated to iOS 6, but today I get the error message "Sorry, I am having trouble connecting to the network" with using siri feature. I think it may be a server issue first. Then I try to speak and get "Sorry, I am not able to connect to the network right now."

How to fix Siri Can't Connect to the Network on iPad iOS 6
* Tap Settings > General > Siri, and turn it off. Wait it for 10 seconds.
* Go to Settings > General > Reset, and select "Reset Network Settings". Your tablet will reboot itself.
* Tap Settings > General > Siri, and turn it ON again and wait a few seconds. After those steps have been done, I am able to access and use Siri.
