Remove All Photos from iPad Camera Roll with Preview app
If there are hundreds of photos libraries from the Camera Roll on your iPad tablet, removing them is really notoriously slow and will take you hours. However, if you are a Mac user, Preview app offers a quick way to remove all Photos from the Camera Roll.

* Use a USB cable to connect the iPad to the Mac. Launch Preview app, click File and select "Import from iPad" > Import All.
* Hit Command+A to select all move the slider bar to shrink the the window size of thumbnails as small as possible.
* There is a red (\) delete button at the bottom of the screen. Click on it to start removing all pictures.

  1. There are two methods to remove photos from iPad Camera Roll:
    1. Import the Camera Roll to your computer, choosing to remove photos after import.
    2. Remove photos from your iPad manually. Open the Photos application, open the Camera Roll, tap the Action button, tap each photo to select it, and tap the Delete button.
    Note: For photos you want to save for later, import them to your computer before deleting them from the Camera Roll.

  2. If you deleted iPhone photos or any other data accidentally, then you are advised to opt either backup if exist or a iPhone Data Recovery Software in this regard.
